Kobe and I met during our first week of grade 8 at Wellington Secondary. We quickly became friends and were inseparable. Weekend sleepovers, camping and vacations with our families were quite the norm. Her grandma always referred to us as "2 peas in pod." Sadly, sometime during university, life took us in different directions and we didn't see each other as often.
Last Friday, Kobe and her boyfriend were in a motorcycle accident in Bali. She's in serious condition in the ICU. While her mama has traveled to be by her side in Indonesia, her step-dad, and sisters, Leah and Marie have been working tirelessly to raise funds ($100,000) to bring her home. They are also looking for B- donors.
